About the Event

Knit to Fit was a one-day, 2-part workshop in beautiful Hood River, Oregon. The workshop was held in a beautiful vacation home close to both downtown and heights shopping districts.

Session 1: The morning session was taught by Sarah Keller and Nichole Reese and focused on tips and techniques for knitting garments that will fit. Topics covered include how to read pattern information to choose the right size, how to customize your knits to fit your body type, and finishing techniques to ensure your knits fit the way you want.

Session 2: How great would it be to have your own personal dress form, with all of your own measurements, to ensure the best fitting knits? Now you have by making your very own dress form. No garment-knitting experience was required. We provided all the materials you needed to make your own dress form, modeled on your figure, that you took home at the end of the day.
